Load / Stress tools

Hello, I have been tased with determining different disk technologies to use.
With out going into what the industry thinks it is the best I have to work
within my company's It standars. I am looking for a tool to stress the SQL
server with 3 different tests. 1) Reads 2) Writes 3) Read / Writes on the
Northwinds database. My plan is to run these seperatly while running perfmon.
Any help / scripts that can easily be setup for a non SQL person would help!
